Schools of the Future

A learning community focused on transforming Schools in Hawaii

Aloha all,

Does anyone know of any vendors for SmartBoards here in Hawaii. If you have a web-site link, phone number, name of company, e-mail contact etc., please pass them on!

Also, if you have advice on what type/kind to get the most bang for the buck for elementary age students, that would also be greatly appreciated.

With gratitude,

Lisa Mireles

HI Lisa - we have smartboards in all our elementary classrooms - right down to K. If you go to smarttech's website, they have lots of examples of the kids of lessons teachers have created for students:
http://education.smarttech.com/ste/en-us/

example: I did a search for Grade 2 Math lessons - 217 hits under the notebook lessons...titles like "adding Animals" and "Addition and Subtraction riddles"
