Schools of the Future

A learning community focused on transforming Schools in Hawaii

Attached is a draft .ppt presentation I put together for Leigh and I to present to our US / MS faculty. I covered only the basic outlines of what we saw at HTH. It is very much a work in progress and merely an overview on these slides. We intend to add content depth with oral discussion and future presentations. This ppt is a starting point designed for about an hour and a half of informal presentation and concurrent discussion. We used the flower motif from one of the cummulative reports at HTH, on the final day, to give a little structure to the flow of information.

I would love it if anyone wanted to use this and make edits / additions of their own, then share it back to the NING for all of us to collaborate on the messages we are bringing back to our faculty... Is this worthwhile to anyone else?

Thanks to Phil whose notes were combined with Leigh's notes and my own for the content so far. And thaks to Melissa Handy from whom we borrowed 2 of the many pictures she has posted on the NING.

Best to all!

Branden, you are welcome for the pictures.

Thanks for putting this together. I think it will be very useful for IPA's team. I like the way you used the flower :)

Branden,

I really enjoyed this presentation. I think it's terrific as is - concise, nice graphic and a good jumping off point for discussion.

Thank you so much for sharing this.

Thanks Branden! Such a great summary! And I really appreciate you posting it here. When we finally get to present/discuss SOTF with our faculty, this will be a big help.
Aloha, Diane
